On the ‘sticky tomato work’, I’ve had luck with non-stick (PTFE) pruners plus a tiny smear of mineral oil on the blades — think cooking spray for shears — then a quick isopropyl pad wipe every 10–15 plants. Caveat: the coating helps but wears if you scrub with abrasives, so a citrus cleaner rinse is a gentler alternative; anyone using silicone spray instead?
