During my last late shift, I turned our “adapting to unexpected situations” chat into 5 Anki cards by recording on Voice Memos, auto-transcribing in Notion, then copy-pasting Q→A — took 10 minutes and stuck way better than re-reading. If the transcript’s messy, I just write three If X→Then Y lines in Obsidian instead. It’s like turning watercooler talk into microwaveable leftovers.

I keep a ‘shift surprises’ note in Obsidian and, when a thread pops, I add three cloze lines and sync to Anki — flashcards do the reps while I grab coffee. @aaron_jay22 your flow’s solid; I just batch at day’s end to avoid noisy cards — have you tried cloze-first for speed?
